Kongsberg is first and foremost a winter sport town, but also a moden town with good traditions. From Funkelia there is a very short distance to the ski centre and because of one of Norways most modern system of snow canons the slopes are open from December to the end of Easter.<\/p>\n
Here you can test your skills in the freestyle arena, superpipe and railpark. There is also a small slope for the youngest so the whole familiy can be active.<\/p>\n
From the apartments there are also a short distance up to the mountain with the wooden cabin “Knutehytta” where you can get both warm and cold meals. The surroundings are greate for hiking both summer and winter.<\/p>\n
In the area you also find possibilities for fishing, the silver mines, golf, gocart a magnificent landscape with a broad sptecter of aktivities for the whole family all year around.<\/p>\n
If someone in your family prefer a more urbane activity the area can also provide this. The town has small and cozy shops, a mall, cinema, jazz festival, one of Norways finest churhes, museums and new and exciting alternatives regarding coffe shops and restaurants. This is somewhat that attracts both the locals and the tourists.<\/p>\n
